The Drug Safety and Effectiveness Network (DSEN) Methods and Applications Group for Indirect Comparisons (MAGIC) is a pan-Canadian team of investigators with world-renowned expertise in knowledge synthesis, biostatistics; knowledge translation; clinical epidemiology; sex and gender analysis; and health economics.
Over the past 8 years, MAGIC has conducted 35 research projects (corresponding to 72 queries) for DSEN knowledge users including Health Canada, CADTH, and provincial/territorial ministries of health and delivering evidence based Knowledge Translation products.
Our ultimate goal is to enhance pharmacovigilance in Canada using a broad range of knowledge synthesis methods based upon the needs of DSEN knowledge users.
